Burger's Farm Fresh Fruit Market

Calling all who are looking for a cute family owned farmers market with affordable prices, lush greenery and flowers, and quality produce that more than fits the budget!

I stumbled upon this gem as I do all other things i.e. Google! It's 20 minutes from my house and has that cozy industrial feel with a touch of the green thumb. I remember view experiences when I was younger visiting a farmers market with my mother, she would remark on the deals and the quality, and I , as any other kid would do, scurried and looked for free samples. So fast forward to now, being a married young adult, needing to stick to a food budget, but searching for the fresh quality in my produce that won't break the bank!

My past go-to for good produce was Publix, but the price wasn't always right and I would end up with less fruit then one would think for the amount of money I was shelling out. I pushed the thought away because I cook all the time and good fruits and vegetables are a must in my recipes turning out right! So, came a time to go to Burger's where I actually wanted just pictures for the blog and to pick up a few fruits while I was in there and scope out some deals. Boy, do I wish I found this sooner. There were bananas bunches for 50 cents, thats 19 cents cheaper than the ones at the grocery store. 2 huge tomatoes for just under a buck, ripe pineapple and crisp gala apples ( my absolute favorite) for a good deal! I WAS IN PRODUCE HEAVEN!

There were hydrangeas on sale,tulips, and various other plants , some with bulbs so you can plant them right in the ground! Various honey, marinades, and jars of chow chow oh my! I fell in love! I can shop locally, support local business, catch a few deals, and have yummy fresh fruits without emptying my wallet. So thank you Burger's for your hospitality and for the wonderful woman who showed us around and gave us tips of the trade for planting and thank you google for always leading me to a good time!
