Whose that girl... it's Morgan!

Well from the title you can tell 2 things about me, 1) I love and will always love New Girl and 2) this is going to be a facts about me post! I want to give you real facts about my personality, weird stuff I do, and just some background. So let's do this!

Whatcha know bout me whatcha watch know bout me? (Do you remember the lipgloss is popping song because I do!)

FACT 1: I love mangoes. I have almost an unhealthy obsession with mango. One day I will live next to mango tree and I can die happy and full! It's more than a favorite, it's a lifestyle.

FACT 2: I'm 5'1. I'm a shorty. Ya girl wants to grow but human biology is like no Morgan, you shan't grow.

FACT 3: My husband was my first official date, kiss, and everything worth mentioning. He is my first and only love. I'm glad my first real boyfriend was my best friend first and that I got it right on the first try, other people aren't as fortunate. We got married November 19th.

FACT 4: I was born in Boston but moved down here to Georgia when I was baby, for a while every year we visited my grandma when she lived up there. Needless to say a lot of my family members have distinct Bostonian accents

FACTS 5: I like cows.... a lot. My bovine friends are just so cute to me! One of my friends, his family, owns cows and they let me pet their baby calves and I still have it as one of my fondest memories. I'm the girl driving, sees a cow, screams about it and pulls over hoping to communicate with them and coax them into taking a selfie with me.

FACT 6: I love period piece films. Take me away to a different time, a simpler lifestyle, and force my brain to see things thru the glasses of a new era and I am your girl! Suffragettes, Brooklyn, Belle, Pride and Prejudice, etc it doesn't matter if it's fact or fiction I'm enthralled. This includes miniseries and Master Piece Classics.

FACT 7: I can't stand the rubbing of my nail on the seatbelt it gives me the chills in an extremely bad way. I also do not like the feel of hair under my arm pits, any strands and I'm creeped out by MY OWN PITS! I can't sleep with socks or with any doors open in the room. Every door must be closed or I can see the pit of darkness it makes and it freaks me out!

FACT 8: I was bullied in middle school and had to be taken out during 7th grade and went to an extremely small local private school. I started to blossom from a shy girl to much more personality since it was such a small school, I only had 12 people in my grade. I starred in the school musicals as a supporting role of Veruca Salt in 7th grade , for Willy Wonka, and Gracie in the Nifty Fifties in 8th grade. So yes, I can sing and no I don't sing for other people often anymore.

FACT 9: I'm a drama kid and I loved it! I did makeup and costumes for the productions and was the set crew for when we went to competition for our production of Bridge to Terabithia.

FACT 10: When I am sad, I bake. I bake until I'm happy. If I don't have the ingredients for baked goods, I will cook normally but there is nothing like the sweet smell of something baking in the oven wafting thru the house filling it with warmth. The smell of vanilla extract, sugar, and beaten eggs and the relaxing comfort of combining the dry ingredients and the wet and having a purpose even if it's temporary.

FACT 11: I never felt like I fit in with my family. I wouldn't say I'm a black sheep but I'm just my own person on a different page. It doesn't change any love I feel and my sister, although we look alike we laugh at how people think we have the same personality because we are so completely different.

FACT 12: I have a good memory. If you tell me something personal I will remember it forever. I remember people's names, places, what they said they were doing and I'm actually interested. Call it nosy, call it whatever but I actually care and I want to know how your great niece's graduation party went and if the pie you were making turned out good because I would want someone to remember things about me.

FACT 13: I love babies. Squishy fat ones with wrinkly knees, and huge cheeks.I love any opportunity to hold one. Ask Marc I admittedly have baby fever but I won't be a mom for a LONNNNNG time, so don't ask me!

FACT 14: I have one sister and one half brother but I hate saying half because it sounds weird. If someones your brother they are your brother, end of discussion.

FACT 15: I want to travel to so many places I hope I get to them all in my lifetime!Not saying it isn't possible but I have to realistic.

FACTS 16: I want 3 kids. Having kids never felt more real until after I got married now I think about their names and what I can do now to make me a better wife and mother later.

FACTS 17: I regret my wedding dress. I was pressured into choosing it and had a rather traumatic experience picking one. I hope to remedy this by having cute anniversary pictures one day. Ladies, pick the dress you feel most beautiful in!

FACTS 18: I make lists compulsively. From to do list, to grocery lists, to meals, to blog ideas, to places I want to go, movies I want to own. There is a list, it resides in my phone and is continually growing in length as we speak.

FACTS 19: It took me years to realize I am more than my weight and more than my fat rolls. I'm more than the superficial things and don't have to fit with the ever changing standards of beauty. I'm beautiful. It's a fact I have to state to myself when I am tearing my own self apart in my mind, nitpicking my own body, and bullying myself. I feel like this should be a fact in everyone's fact about themselves. My value isn't found in other people's opinion of how I should look. They aren't God so I don't owe them anything, that includes trying to change myself for them.

FACT 20: I love to dance, I'm not the best dancer but I got a little rhythm. Ya girl can throw out some salsa and bachata moves real quick and side to side shuffle. Marc is not the best dancer, either, but he's the most fun dancer of all time! He has this epic spin move that he did at our wedding, I still look at that video and go," Wow I love that man". So I drop little dance moves all the time through out the day and sometimes when my food is good and is giving me all the yumminess, a happy dance breaks out then too!
